Eating the bread of idleness?

Proverbs 31:27
"She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness."

For some strange reason this verse keeps coming up in my daily studies...ok so studies may not be the best word seeing as I'm not a "study" type person...

You see I'm naturally lazy, well organized and selfish!  I have a clean house (but I also have a wonderful husband who helps out ALOT around the house) the house is clean not because I want to clean but "must" clean.  Organization comes naturally to me, but I also am not a huge clutter bug.  Selfish....I have friends tell me all the time that everyone is selfish, but I know for a fact that mine is way above average.

This verse in Proverbs first came up when I was first laid off in August.  I realize I'm not the best wife in the world so I thought I would look up verses in the bible to give me examples of what being a good wife means...ergo the above verse.

Being idol is one of my best talents, I will find myself watching a movie, and later tell myself "Sabina that was the best way to waste 2 hours of your life"!

So here I am rambling, being idle and trying to find ways to be a better Wife, Mother,  find a job and keep in touch with friends of whom I have allowed to drift out of my life.  So I'm now going to get off my fanny and get better at not being idle
